On behalf of all of us at the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario (RPNAO), we’d like to extend our warmest greetings to all of our nursing and health care colleagues.
This past year, RPNAO conducted an ambitious research project with RPNs throughout Ontario. Our goal was to gain insights into RPNs goals, challenges, opinions, and lived experiences. One of the survey questions asked about RPNs’ reasons for going into nursing. The vast majority of respondents said they chose nursing because of a strong desire to help others.
And help others they do. Every day, RPNs make tremendous differences in the lives of those they care for. And every day, you’re there for your patients, clients and their family members.
But who’s taking care of you?
