In 1959, Fred and Marie Lafontaine opened one of Ontario’s first nursing homes on the banks of the Rouge River in Pickering, Ontario. Their cozy residence was among the first in Ontario to be approved by the Ministry of Health for provision of long term care for seniors.
Over the years, we have continued to experience steady, controlled growth, earning a reputation as one of Ontario’s finest managers of nursing and retirement homes.
With residences in communities across Ontario, we understand the importance of a personal touch in creating an enjoyable retirement experience. The warm, caring environment created in each of our residences is the result of innovative thinking, careful planning, and the efforts of our outstanding caring staff.
